The ground dried out a bit, but not the house....
It was quite wet on the site and with nothing much on the roof, things inside got really wet. It has dried out quite a bit since these photos were taken, but we did have concerns with the subfloor and walls shrinking and swelling and possible mold problems later on. The siding that will be used will be Certainteed which asorbs far less moisture than comparable products - see more at http://www.certainteed.com/CertainTeed/Pro/Contractor/Siding/CaseStudies/Fibercement/#Vancouver

The strand board is being used on the floors and after more research into that, I felt better. The builder will have to put torpedo blowers and dehumidifiers in next week to get the house dried out enough to put the drywall up.

At it's peak
Whoa!! The peaks are coming on and the house is looking and feeling really tall. How will I ever reach the cob webs? FYI, good housewarming gift 45 ft extendable swiffer. Lynn's still out digging ditches....will this chore ever end? Yes and soon. We are going to finish putting the rest of the drainage ditches in in the next week.
